Overview:

When Lindsay Metcalf, owner of HomeConnect, approached us with a problem, we were intrigued. Lindsay told us she wanted to expand her marketing efforts but was having a difficult time explaining to potential clients just what it is that HomeConnect does. To put it simply, HomeConnect offers luxury concierge and caretaking services to homeowners in Bozeman, but the challenge was that this description didn’t capture the breadth and depth of the amazing services her business has to offer. Lindsay wanted us to create a short video that helped solve this problem.

Process:

We decided the best solution was to create a brief explainer video that did just that, explains and shows what HomeConnect does and how it helps make its client’s lives better. Working together with Lindsay, we created a storyboard concept for a video that showed a day-in-the-life of a home belonging to one of Lindsay’s clients. We wanted to portray how Lindsay’s services alleviated the worries and fears of her clients who are often away for many months at a time. We wanted to show that her client’s homes were in good hands.

Outcome:

And our final video did just that. It puts the viewer in the shoes of the homeowner and we feel the worry and anxiety they feel leaving their home unattended. The video then resolves this tension by showing Lindsay caring for the home and the homeowners returning and enjoying their beautiful space and scenery around them.

Lindsay said this explainer video has achieved its purpose by helping her communicate effectively the value of HomeConnect’s services. She plans to feature it front and center on the homepage of her website and intends to share it frequently with networking contacts and potential clients.
